The world has ALWAYS been full of war and death! This is nothing new. There used to be dead bodies piled int he streets from the plague. There were always wars being fought even in the bible. So this is no worse then anything else in history.

Neither, Nostradamus predictions were vague, and do not directly mention the things that are happening today. They seem to be true, however, because of his use of speech. Revelations in the bible are not happening either. Wars in the middle east has been going on since the beginning of time. The war has just escalated with technology. The world is not in peril. Much to the contrary, most of the world is experiencing growth in many ways. yet, no one person knows when the world will end. To say that the world is ending, Jesus is coming, etc. Is an egregious comment, because for the christian, you are claiming to have inside knowledge. In the bible, those who claimed to have such knowledge (fake at that), were labled as sinners. Also, to say that Athiests think the world is ending, is to say that either they just have a feeling, or they believe that a higher force, i.e. a god (God) is in action. This denies the true definition of Athesim.

first to the person who said nostradomus predicted things AFTER they happened, he predicted hilter ,and that took place LONG after nostradomus was dead (too bad athiests are just as closed minded as christians). now as far as it being the reality of the book of revelations, no...whY? because the bible was written by men not by god, and organized religion is nothing more than a control method created by man, it's easy to promise something you'll never have to make good on since the people you made the promise to are dead. now there is no point in even talking about the nostradomus aspect since based on your question you are calling his visions a fluke and speaking of reality with revelation, so you already have your answer regardless of what anyone else tells you.

What are you talking about? Athiests don't believe the end of the world is coming. I'm one of them. My world will end when I die.
Nostradomus was a fraud. He "predicted" things AFTER they happened. He was specifically vague so that multiple events could fit into his "predictions".
Revelations is also just a story.

I think you mean Nostradamus. :)
I believe everything's just a product of free will. People screw things up, so they're going to be screwed up. Cause and effect. The end.
By the way, isn't "reality of Revelations" an oxymoron?

Well, seeing as how there has been almost constant war in the middle east for more than 1000 years, I would say he had AMAZING foresight to think it would still be going on after he was dead and gone! ;-)
