He has 2 options the meat or the wood, if it were a choice between rumproast or wood, the likely choice may be the rumproast, but the actual question asks for how much wood, and I would have to say the answer is ( X). If he is hungry he could eat the rumproast, and then have the energy to Chuck Wood, but it depends on how much energy derived from the eating of the rumproast that is usable for "chucking" towards the wood.
On the other hand, it could be 0 on how much would could he chuck if he could chuck rumproast. He may just have rumproast, which would leave our original question to the quantity of 0 as he was sleeping after he ate the rumproast.

I'm assuming the amount of wood is in direct proportion to the size of the rumproast it is capable of chucking. Say for example a rumproast weighs 1 pound, then I can assume the wood chuck could probably chuck an equal quantity of wood as the weight of the rumproast. So first... you must ask how much rumproast can a wood chuck chuck, if a wood chuck could chuck rumproast. Tell me that answer, and I'll answer yours. Thanks for the points!

You really need to get your doctor to change your medication dose. Raise it or lower it, but the current dose does not seem to be effective.
