Caring means that you really do have concerns about their welfare and happiness, more of a friend or mentor, teacher, etc. Loving someone is sharing a relationship on some level:bf/gf, husband/wife, bf/bf, sis/bro, aunt/niece, etc. In love is the all consuming feeling of not being able to live if you can't be with this person and they are always on your mind and in your heart! sometimes the in love leaves a long term relationship but the loving relationship is still there. Then they need to get busy trying to add romance and keep the in love feeling alive again!

Caring for someone, like caring for any thing, simply requires having some kind of connection that makes you aware of that things needs.

To love something means to have a specific kind of connection to something or someone, a connection that very much makes the thing you love a part of you.

You can care for something or someone without love. You can not love something or someone without caring for them. This is one of those areas where people really get confused, because many people confuse love and lust and infatuation with eachother. Being infatuated with someone can feel like love, but it is fleeting and fading, and is often not shared by the other party... when two people are infatuated with eachother, but not in love, that's when bad things happen.

You generally don't care for or about someone you don't love. You can be concerned about a person and not care. Caring for or about someone is on a deeper level and takes more energy than just being concerned about them. I love my parents, best friends and children, but I am in love with my husband and love him as well. Being in love is when you feel completely safe from harm in the other person's arms. "You know you are in love
when you see the world in her eyes,
and her eyes everywhere in the world." - David Levesque. "When you love someone,
all your saved-up wishes start coming out." - Elizabeth Bowen. Many people have attempted to explain love, but truly only the heart knows when you are in love. You can love those you care about, but you are only in love with the person you find utterly desirable. Follow your heart and listen to your head, when they agree, you've probably got a really good thing.

Good luck.

i think if u care for someone, u CAN love them; but if you love someone, you AUTOMATICALLY care for them. u cannot love someone and not care, but u can care for someone but not "love" them; ie, care about children who are starving in Africa, but u don't know them so u can't really love them, at least in the sense of a husband/wife, or close family.

if u are confused that u don't "feel" loved from ur husband, perhaps because the passion is gone, don't discount ur husband's words. passion in a relationship does not always mean u will love that person, because lust can fade. but love from someone Means something, and is something u should appreciate and hold on to. being in a marriage should mean loving and giving freely, w/ no boundaries, nothing to stop u, u are not vulnerable anymore, because u are w/ someone who loves u no matter what u do.

Being in love with someone, means you have eyes, thoughts, and devotion to them. You can love and care for friends, but it's that whole fairy tale type feeling with someone your in love with.
