u r the only person who could give the best answer to your question.
Generally lack of sleep could be related to various factors. many of which and things to do and things not to do have been suggested above.
Ur difficulty needs to be explored further like, whether u r not able to get off to sleep or whether u wake up early and finding it difficult to go back to sleep.
whatever the reason might be..........it is very important to discuss this with some professional becoz sleep has always been a good indicator of physical and mental health.

Harmful Effects of Sleep Loss
“Nine percent of Poles sleep less than five hours per night,” reports the Warsaw weekly Wprost. “Among Americans and Britons, 1 in 3 sleeps no more than 6.5 hours a night.” According to Michał Skalski of a sleep-disorder clinic in Poland, “someone who sleeps little is under permanent stress.” Japanese research indicates that “the risk of heart attack is 50 percent higher in those who sleep five hours a day or less when compared with those sleeping eight hours per night,” reports Wprost. In addition, American studies indicate that lack of sleep may be linked to diabetes and other health problems. Sleep loss not only “leads to changes in glucose metabolism” but is also related to “increased risk of obesity,” says the report. “When you’re tired, your body tries to compensate for the lack of energy,” explains the magazine American Fitness. “Sleep-deprived people tend to eat and drink more to feel awake. So, if you’ve lost a couple pounds and want to keep them off, sleep a little more.”

I would be inclined to think that it's because your not relaxed enough to sleep at the moment and if its as warm as it is here that doesn't help so anyway make yourself a nice milky drink , put some nice relaxing music on and you should be ready for some sleep.. goodnight zzzzzz

The answer is simple ... you simply have no peace of mind at the moment! You may not feel stressed or particularly worried but your subconcious is working overtime and you simply can't let yourself go!
But if it's none of that, then it's simply the hot weather! It's murder, isn't it ..... sweet dreams whatever :-)

It is early in the day. You should just relax and turn everything off in the house so you are not distracted. You definitely should get off Yahoo Answers. It is so addictive, it will keep you awake.
