If anyone cares my wife and I share the same beliefs.

It's a constant source of irritation for me. I'm a practicing Catholic, and my husband used to go to a Protestant church about 25 years ago, and hasn't stepped foot in his church since. It's becoming more and more difficult to try to explain to my two very young children why they have to go to Mass and Daddy gets to stay home. How can you answer that question without making Daddy look bad, especially when the children are too young to understand that practicing (or not practicing) an organized religion is an adult choice?
Be thankful that you and your wife are on the same page. It definitely saves some problems.

No probs. I can sit for an hour in church. Not like I'll melt or spontaneously combust. I do get a little annoyed when decisions go undecided and just left to "God", but whatever, no different than leaving it to "fate" or "kharma" or anything else. No kid situation to worry about, but as long as you're good parents I dont think that would be a problem either. In fact, since I dont rely on God for anything, its really easy to get along with anyone.

my fiancee is atheist, and i'm an agnostic witch. it doesn't cause any problems because we respect each other's opinions, beliefs, and rights to believe in what we want. it might also not be a problem because neither of us subscribe to a system of beliefs that requires us to preach to others or makes us think that anyone with different beliefs as us will be in "big trouble" or anything.

My BF is Luthrian, I am Pagan.

We dont let religious differences get in our way! In fact he supports me, and I support him.

Ive told him I would go to church with him because I respect his choice to follow a different religion
and we promised one another that we would not try to convert eachother!

When you find that special someone, dont let them go just because religion is different
I hope one day people finally realize one day that we are all unique and have our own beliefs and not to be so judgemental and say one another is wrong, and well you all know what im talking about :P

Blessed Be!

Yes. My fiance is an Agnostic, I am a Christian. No, it causes no problems for us. We respect and love the other person, look over the diffrence, and respect the choices we each have made when it comes to faith.

My mon was a Baptist, my Dad a Mormon, and they have been married 30 years. It can work.

Yes, I am an atheist and my husband is a christian. It does not cause us any problems at all. We occasionally discuss religion but we respect each other and never get angry with what the other says because neither of us gives our views in a demeaning way.

We have different faiths. He's nondemoninational, mostly non-practicing Christian. I'm Buddhist. His bible says that he's not supposed to be unequally yoked with an unbeliever. I've got the NIV and KJV all muggled in my head.

The biggest fight has been over Harry Potter, though. He bought into the Fundie bandwagon that a childrens book about a magic school for children was going to lead kids to hell. I thought he was full of it. Our kid hates Harry Potter. He's into paleontology.

My husband I guess call's himself Christian...but his views are different then the normal Christian, and I am a Witch. We have no problems with each others spiritual beliefs interfering in our marriage.
