be assured of eternal paradise?

Wouldn't this really be the ultimate sacrifice? Even greater than that of Jesus?

Hell is a concept invented by leaders to control the simple minded through scare tactics.

So, yes in theory, it would be a great, great sacrifice. No, I wouldn't go. I wouldn't raise children in a world whose inhabitants truly had evidence that hell existed, and therefore could put me in the position to choose.

It would be a sacrifice, but he did that for the entire world, for people who spit in his face and ripped flesh from his body with a cat of nine tails whip, people that said he loved him, but betrayed him...this sounds an awful lot like kids. He did it for the whole world and your kids eternal status is up for them to decide and they are ultimately accountable for their own action. God doesn't desire sacrafice so that why he took care of this sin issue once and for all. Grace my friend.

Question for you. What makes you so holy to have God accept your sacrafice? It's all about Jesus and the healing quality of his blood.

Hell is the grave and is not a horrible place. Hell is temporary for Jesus is going to resurrect those who are in hell. Revelation tells us that Jesus has the keys to hell, meaning he will open the graves of those who have fallen asleep in death to be reunited with their families and loved ones. [ Revelation 1:18 ]
Revelation 20:13,14 tells us also__" And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
We can see here that hell delivers up its dead and then they are judged. Hell and death are then destroyed forever. This will be a wonderful time--no more death and no more graves.

Depends on how old the children are...I was always told that if children under 12 die they are considered innocent and go to heaven. Now if you raise them to want to go to hell when they're older...that's a different story. Why would anybody want to? That's almost sick!

Yes, and Yes. Not greater, but equal.

I think a better option would be to teach our children well, so that NO ONE goes there!
