Plant kitty-grass in few little pots and spread them around the house for easy access. So, once your cat gets used to the fact that there's juicy and tasty grass for her, she won't try to eat your plants. Right now she's probably doing it because she has to "help" herself throw out some hairballs, and since she sees green... well, the nature does its thing!

Buy urself a spray gun or water pistol. When u see the cat heading towards the plant(s) give he or she a single squirt. NOTE: You cant let ur cat see that its u controlling the squirt gun tho. U need to have them think that if they r going to go near this plant or any plants in the house that IT will squirt them. This works most of the time when the cat doesnt see that its u. So when u do go to squirt them make urself hidden. Try not to let the cat see that it was u doing this. If u cant hide urself make it obvious that u were doing sumthing else. Cats r smart animals and will look at us when sumthing like that happens. Not so often to blame us at the time, but more so to look at u as if saying "oh my god did u see that?" If they see that its u doing it to them, they will bring a tolerance to it. So u wanna make sure they dont know its u. This worked for me when my cat used to claw at the curtains. Its funny to watch them jump in reaction but dont let them know its u. This does work because my cat stopped the clawing. So urs should stop the biting. Goodluck

That is hard to stop a cat from doing this. Some plants are poisonous to a feline so check out your nursery or where you bought the plants. You could buy some afalfa plants and let your cat nimble on this or get a spray bottle and everytime the cat starts to nibble on your plants squirt him with the sprayer with just water in it. This will startle them and he may quit it. Just remember a cat owns you` you don`t own them.

Spray the cat with water from a water bottle when its biting the house plant and if the cat likes water put rocks in a tin can and shake it to startle the cat.

You shouldnt have plants, if you have a cat. They have a natural curious instinct, and most household plants are toxic to cats! They chew on stuff like that because they like grass, and assume its all along the same lines... So, remove the plants!

If you go to a pet store, there might be a natural (never use chemicals) repellent that you can spray on the plants, and then your cat will stay away from them. I don't even have a cat but i seem to know a lot about them! yippy!

You should try squirting the cat with a water bottle every time he tries to bite them.Don't spray a lot on the cat just a little.but don't let your cat know where it is coming from.Continue to do this and your cat will eventually learn to stop...

ok ive got 2 cats and i had the same problem. i went to the local garden centre and bought a box of small pellets they are lemon and lime..and have a realy nice smell...they dont damage plant and have no affects on the cats. in other words they cannot harm the cats..they just dont like the smell of the lime. so it deters them from doing it..

This may sound wierd, but it really works.
Put some aluminum foil right above the soil. around the plants. Cats can't stand the touch or sound.
Worked for me!
