I don't know why everyone has a problem using public bathrooms. The bathroom is where we're supposed to take care of bodily functions. Everyone knows that it's not pretty and it doesn't smell like roses but it's natural. If you want a guaranteed way to get rid of the smell then light a match, let it burn for about 10 seconds then blow it out. The smell will be immediately neutralized and you won't have to be embarrassed.

You gotta go if you gotta go. Everybody stinks up the bathroom. You can buy some bathroom spray and put it in there. Or keep doing what you doing and maybe whoever is responsible for the bathroom will take the hint and buy some. Turn on the fan if there is one.

Hey, if you gotta, you gotta. Just use the exhaust fan, if they have one, and spray some air freshener. If they don't have any air freshener, or it's iffy from one day to the next, carry a small fragance of some (light scented) kind in your purse. Another tip, carry a book of matches. Lighting a match or two will remove odors almost instantaneously, due to the sulfer.

that's why scented candles were invented. Find a lovely fragrance and donate it and some matches to the lav. Everyone will thank you. Just don't burn down the place. Light it as soon as you enter and extinguish it as you leave.

Buy some air-deodorizer spray.
Go buy a candle from Yankee Candles, the big one in the jar and light it after you leave - just be sure to extinguish it before you leave for the night.

Take a match with you next time and strike it after you poo..it helps with the odor, lysol would be good too. And turn on the 'fart' fan while you're in there.

I have the same problem. I carry my own purse-sized air freshener...one that really works and smells like pure oranges...and I use it everywhere I "go"!
