Keep your pup on the same food for at least one year. That is the standard for most dogs, unless you have a large breed. For a smaller breed, puppy food is appropriate for a complete year. The reason is that the food has the nutrients and fats that are necessary for healthy development.
If you change out his/her food like you ask, you risk causing a lot of pain for your pup. Each time you change the food, the body has to have a chance to adjust to it. During that adjustment period, he's bound to have the runs and a little bit of upset tummy. Changing his food like you're asking will make that worse.
When your little one is about 11 1/2 months old, i'd reccommend starting to change over to the adult food. In doing that, you'll need to blend his puppy food and gradually add the adult food that he's going to eat. Trust me, this will help get his system ready for the new food, as well as lesson the bowel issues and your headaches that will happen if you just up and switch.
As far as bathing, i'd say every week to 10 days as long as his skin can handle it. Check the bottle and find a shampoo that's right for your pup. You'll know right away if you're bathing too much within the first two weeks, he'll be itchy and flaky. No problem, back off and bathe him every two weeks. Make sure to rinse thouroughly and don't be suprised if he rolls on the floor to get scent back on himself.
Good luck!!

I've been around dogs my whole life and I've never heard of changing the diet every three months. In fact, that will probably lead to having a very finicky eater. You would have to change the diet according to the development of the dog. Like going from puppy food, to adult, to maturity formulas, etc.. Stick with a good commercial brand like Iams. As far as the bath, my rule is no more than once a month (unless skunk or mud deems it necessary) There are oils in a dogs coat that are needed to sustain good skin and coat conditions. Washing too often will deplete them and you could end up with some serious doggy dandruff.

I don't think you change it every 3 months, I think you change it gradually. Like from puppy food to adult and then to senior. Oh, and about the bath, we give ours one once a week. Sometimes twice if he's dirty or if we are taking him somewhere the next day. Ours is a Havanese so he is about the size of a cocker spaniel.

Every 3 months? You give the poor thing fresh food everyday along with fresh water. As for the bath I used to give my dog a bath every other week and give a nice brushing every other day. Thats just me though.

You should give it food every day. Bath a puppy once/twice a month depending on the dog.

NO changing the food will make it sick. A steady diet of quality food is best. As for bathing puppies, monthly is best. Too many baths can weaken the immune system.

Dogs are supposed to be kept on a consistent diet. Switching things up on them can be upsetting to their system. If you want to be absolutely sure on what you should feed your dog, talk with your vet.
You should probably bathe your puppy about once a month with a mild shampoo. Of course, extra baths when he/she gets into a mess (it will happen).

Never heard of that. I have no idea why you would do that.
You can bathe a puppy weekly if needed. Brushing helps keep them clean also.
