Are you really serious?
God had nothing to do with the act of homosexuality, that is another one of those things that man has done to him/her self, and to try to justify it as being okay in the eye of God......Never ever that.
God has nothing to do with such mess, such confusion, the devil is all mixed in with that one, just like murder, stealing, wife/husband swapping. adultery.
It's not right in the eyes of God and anything holy, nor is it fit for marriage, it can never be anything but what it is not normal.....
One person, with One opinion......Mines and I am a American with the free will to speak my mind........

I was thinking about this as I've heard that idea expressed that being gay is a means of population control. If God, did create certain people to be gay whether for population control or not he would basically be damning them from the get go. Biblically homosexuality is a sin just as premarital sex, fighting, stealing and so on, so to think that God would create someone to be something that is sinful doesn't work in what we understand of Him.
There is no information or scientific reseach to truly support that idea that someone is born gay and especially being created as such would go against God's loving character. There are theories and current genetic studies have found some similiraties in genetic make up, but who's to say that not the case for straight people too. Results are too inconclusive yet people are preaching it like it's the law of gravity. So I say no.
GAY FISH!?!?!?! GAY FISH?! HAHAHAHA LMAO, just because a female fish takes care of eggs in place of the dead male doesnt make it a lesbian. Do they have lesbian sex? Is there national geographic video of 2 lesbian fish 69ing eachother??? So freaking ridiculous, yet one of the funniest things I've heard to support an already unsupportable idea. You guys are reaching down deep for sure! LOL

I guess if feel that God created everything,he did, but then that makes God responsible for everything. God or Nature either way homosexuality exist,maybe for population control but as has been pointed out there are many more efective ways, disease war , disaster. The God of the Old Testament condems it but Jesus hung out with the "sinners" go figure.

No. Homosexuallity has been around in humans and other species a long time, before any type of population control was needed.
It exists for survival of the species in a world where not all parents survive until their offspring reach adulthood and can take care of themselves. Homosexuality provides the species with an extra set of hands to rear the young, thus helping survival of the species itself.

yes I do. it seems that homosexuality in numbers is a relatively new thing(in earths time) and popped up just about the time that population is getting out of hand.
even though I dont believe in god, I heard thissomewhere and think its a valid point for religious people: god said to procreate, but that was then... when there were so few people. now that we have tons, we dont need to procreate until we need more.

No. It is simply another form of sexual expression and another preference. Nothing more, nothing less. It is a different way than heterosexuality to express sexual or romantic love for another.
Love in any form is never wrong as long as it is not abused or used for power or control.
No, don't buy the population control theory, sorry. Nice try though.

Yes and no. in Parrot fish there are lesbian fish who take over when the male dies and when a new male returns she goes away.
While in charge the lesbian fish insures the survival of eggs fertilized by the dead male. So population increases because of homosexuality in fishes.
Now humans are more evolved and aren't controlled by base desires.

no god did not create homosexuality,infact god detests it in leviticus 18:22 do not lie with a man as one lies with a women; that is detestable,also in leviticus 20:13 if a man lies with a manas one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable,they must be put to death;their blood will be on their own heads,also please read romans 1:27 and 1 corinthians 6:9....so god did not create it or you are not born that way,culture and life expereances do that and lust is the main reson hope this helps you any more question please contact me at nightowl2303@hotmailo.com

no. We are supposed to "multiply and replenish the earth". God didn't create it, man did. No offense to all those out there (many of my friends are homosexuals), but i think it is wrong. God says in the bible that those kind of people will be punished.

No - but youre close.
I think homosexuality is a response (natural, natures response) to controlling overpopulation. Same thing happens in lab experiments with rats and deer. Overcrowd them and they become homosexual.
God doesnt exist, therefore he didnt create anything...
