It will take at least 2 weeks to notice a change, but it will be gradual. You don't just wake up one day and say, "Oh, I feel much better!" Plus, they sometimes have to try many different drugs to find the one that's right for you. Not everything works for everybody.

SOME can , it depends on the dossage, the type of medicine and etc. Your friend should see results in between a week and at the most a month. The problem is sometimes the body get used to the medicine and no longer recognizes it as helpful, that is when the doctor will change the medicine. But that could take years.

I don't know what your talking about since this is in mental health it could be many different meds
