How good can meat stay frozen in the freezer for?

I bought a steak a month ago (the 23rd) and was wondering if it was still good to use or if I should throw it out.

It is still good according to a magnet I bought at Target and it is really cool because it has storage times for all meats. Ground meats 3-4 months
fresh beef, pork, lamb, Veal:
(steaks) 6-12 months (Chops) 4-6 months
(roasts) 4-12 months (meat leftovers) 2-3 months ( whole chicken or Turkey) 1 year
(Raw pieces)-9months (leftover pieces), plain 4 months (Fish) 6 months (shellfish) 3 months Hope this helps .

equipment and freezer form makes all the version. Freezer paper works superb and could shop meat from freezer burn longest. I even have basically long previous for a year, yet i'm specific it lasts longer. comparable with vacuum seal programs i'm getting from Omaha Steaks. shop equipment is the worst. Zipper luggage artwork properly in case you get the air out. Plastic packing containers are very unfavourable, too lots air interior. A freezer it quite is frost loose does no longer artwork as properly a non frost loose one. whether you shop it too long, it won't harm you it merely turns into freezer burned and tastes undesirable.

Its still good as long as its been keeped in the freezer since the day you bought it... Can I come over and eat soem too...:)

If it was vacuumed it is good for at least 18 months
