this will completely DRY OUT your hair.....and you wont have hilites...you will have orange hair...(depending on what color you started with)....if you must do this, although I highly recommend that you dont, do half lemon juice, half water, and squirt some good conditioner in there and shake it up really good then spray it on and comb it through....that way it wont be SO DRY

Why do you want to use lemon juice when the products used for highlighting are less than $10. Did you just get a shipment of lemons or something?? Get some bleach and a 30 volume peroxide and get someone to pull your hair through a highlight cap. Read the instructions and let someone apply. It will start to lighten really fast because it's bleach, so watch it, when it gets as light as you want it, rinse first before you remove the cap, you don't want it over the rest of your hair. You could make an appointment at a salon. If you can't afford your whole head, just get the crown done for now............

Well to put lemon juice highlights in your hair just get a spray bottle fill it with it. Spray it all over your hair and comb through then spend some time in the sun. The sun will bring out the highlights.

Use straight lemon juice and then go out in the sun.
I don't recommend this method, there are much more reliable ways to highlight your hair at the salon or the beauty store.

really only works with hair that's already light! go out into the sun with the lemon juice in the hair...let it dry and all! it can dry out the hair, so use conditioner too!

i heard in one book that i dont know if it is true but i think youre supposed to wet your hair then squeeze the lemon juice into the places you want streaked

i just wash my hair with lemon juice and shampoo then i blow dry it. then ta-da!!! i have highlights
