We email each other every other day and our conversations can go on and on.... We have chemistry and he knows I like him....but, I always start up conversations....he seems shy....he owes me lunch and still hasn't asked me out to lunch....he brings it up but, we haven't gone out to lunch. How can I really know if he is interested?

He does sound interested...just shy. At least you found a guy to talk too.
You could always help him along to get him over his shyness....

Men have different ways, that women, of expressing themselves.
I suggest you ask him what he's doing, next week. Maybe he'll say, " I have plans to take my gf out to lunch. " Then in a short time after that, he'll ask you out for lunch. But keep asking questions, about it, subtly until he does.

Well when you are talking to him bring up a tipic where you could slide in some where in the middle of the convasation and ask him if he likes you.
