I personally like what ever the other guy is stupid enuff to give me. I'm fond of submissions mostly because anyone can land a blind luck shot on the button. It takes skill to manipulate your opponent into position and execute a submission.

Yeah that's a great one and when applied properly nearly impossible to escape.I'm surprised to still see guys giving this move away by turning aroung at the wrong time.I'm still a huge fan of the complete knockout though. It's great to see guys that have a good command of mattwork and standup.I've crosstrained the whole time I've studied.I wouldn't get in the octagon with any of these guys though.I use to box and do the World Oyama and a few MMA but nothing this serious.I'd feel better about a fight on the street.I only fight to defend myself though.

yea rear naked choke is completely awesome. when i play around with my friends who don't grapple at all, i can get them into a back mount from standing position and make them tap in under a minute. does that work against real grapplers?

honestly, coming from a combative kickboxing/boxing background i love seeing fights that end with a knockout but i do enjoy a good triangle choke, either from the guard or the mount, they're both interesting to see executed. bas rutten has some totally exquisit submissions and seriously sick chokes and neck cranks... check out his dvds, century fitness has tons of instructional videos on sale for $9.99, most used to be $39.99 or more, you'll get a heck of a deal! http://www.centuryfitness.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?catalogId=10051&storeId=10051&categoryId=13753&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=13501

im a big fan of the clever triangle chock. one second your working your self out of someones guard, the next thing you know your coroted arterys are being shut off by your own sholder and some ones leg. alot more subtle then the RNC

KO by kicks to leg.
So the opponent will feel it for weeks.

K.O. baby, if not that, then armbar, especially when its from bottom guard. The look on their faces are priceless.
