Black and white is hard to make a very good photo, but can show the photorgapers ability. It is also very classic.
Colour is easier to make a good photo, but pay attention to the contrast of the colours and the sunlight and setting.

b&w. very classy.
A good color photo will often look even better printed in b&w, if the composition and contract are good enough.
