Yes I have a Dad and he is a great man with a very big heart filled with love. He's almost always happy and friendly and helping others out with everything that he can. No matter what it is whenever he can help somebody he does whether it is with friendly supportive words, lending a helping hand or by giving food or shelter. He will never let a person down and he does it all out of the goodness of his heart without expecting anything in return. Being able to do something for others and make them smile is what makes him more than happy and I love him with all of my heart for being such a great father but also for being a great grandfather because he's that also and his grandchildren adore him.

I have a dad and a father. The difference is a dad is always there a father is a person that leaves and does not even care. I hope you have a dad, cause those are the best kind. I love mine very much. I would be lost without him.

Yes, I have one. But he's not really been around for a long, long time and never remembered to call me on my birthday (what's up with that?). It's no big deal. Some of us have great dad's, some of us have so-so dad's, some of us have idiots for dads. What's important is how you live you're own life and how YOU take care of the people you love.

Now I do. lol When I was a kid (mom and dad had four of us) he was so busy working and making ends meet that our mom is who we really grew up knowing. Now that I am in my 20's and dad is living a little more comfortably I'm just getting to know him better. Its kind of sad, but it is possible for you to 'have' a father your whole life and never really 'have' one.

My father passed away in 1999. He was the best pal I ever had. I miss him a lot. There isn't a day that passes when I either think about some cool thing he did, or something cool he said.
