Humans can take 300+ rads. Cockroaches can take 25,000 rads.

However while you were posting, Keith Richards walked into the room, and rolled and smoked your geiger counter.

Keith and the roaches are all that will be left after armageddon.

I agree with downsideup. Insects probably laugh at us all the time. They raid our homes and laugh when we can't take em out. When a nuke goes off they'll just laugh their little heads off and eat us. Then they'll throw a party.
