Eki!!!!!

Because he's FORTY YEARS OLD and just finished the Tour de France for the 15th time!

And a little historical tidbit that almost nobody knows about Lance Armstrong - he would never have ridden in the 1999 Tour de France - the first time he won - if not for Eki, who came out of retirement so that the US Postal team would have enough team ranking points to qualify for the race.

Jose Rujano. I read a guy saying he thought Rujano just quit when the going got tough, this guy really doesn't have a clue, you should have seen the look of pain on his face on his way back to the team bus after doing a pretty decent time trial in the Tour while carrying an injury! And he was so close to making it through the whole Tour. I really think he'll be a major Tour winner, if he's in a team that has faith in him

Nicole Cooke. She's possibly the greatest female cyclist these islands have ever produced. She won this year's women's Tour de France, amongst a string of other victories. As a junior she was the Road Race, Time Trial and Mountain Bike world champion at the same time (which is astonishing), and is, as far as I can tell from her interviews, level headed, down to earth and just plain nice.

Alejandro Valverde.

Why?
He's a powerful climber, good sprinter, classics rider, stage rider, cold weather rider, and warm weather rider...he wins stages, one day races, etc. A kind of rider I wish I could be.

Great fun to watch him ride.

Cheers and good riding!

Lance Armstrong because his body is a freak of nature. Seriously, look at this website to see how his body processes oxygen and whatnot.

Kim Severson. I love how she rides, and she always has the bigger horses. I have been riding horses for over 8 years. Right now I have a 17.1 Hanoverian and I love him. I wouldn't trade anything for my Warmbloods and their short term attention span.
