why would my compliments stress him out?

i can't tell the feelings of the boy i like, and kissed a couple weeks ago. he doesn't call nearly as often as he used to before we kissed, and you all told me to not call and not text and see what happens. well, i did stop contacting him, and every time i do, he calls me! but when he came over to my place last time, we watched a movie and that was it; no kissing, or even holding hands. he just went home after. last night i sent him a text message saying i thought he was "unbelieveably charismatic". he said, "please don't say that kind of thing. it is very stressful". what does that mean? does he just want to be friends? i think it's obvious i want more than that, so why would he still be contacting me at all if he didn't feel the same way? p.s. he is 6 years younger than me and has mood swings

I don't think he's stressed out when you compliment him, I think he's just scared. I think he didn't call you after you guys made out because he feels that this is going too fast MAYBE he cares about you more than you even know. I think you should talk to him ,get it all out in the open, and if he still acts like this then he's not worth stressing over.

I think he is very shy and has a low self esteem when it comes to being "touchy feely" and "emotional." I am a lot like that and am trying to change.

Help a brother out and initiate yourself onto him! Try grabbing his hand first or kissing him on the cheek for affection! Be serious with him and boost his self esteem. He sounds like a nice and decent guy
