my girlfriend broke up with me because, she want me to choose between my dog and her, and I told her to leave my house and have my dog with me, did I choose wrong!

my dog is a lab and is the only real friend I had, we live alone and spend sometime at the park, he is three years old, and the best of the best!!!!

Well, depends on what the situation is. Were you spending too much time with your pet instead of her?
If it's just that she's not a dog person or doesn't like pets, then I'd say you made the right decision. There's a fundamental difference between you two in this regard and it would've made things difficult in the long run.

What ?? chose between a dog and her? obviously she doesn't think to highly of herself to have to compete with a dog.. You made a great decision by choosing your dog. How can someone not like a dog.something is wrong with her..

Nope...it's called "love me love my dog". Dogs don't talk back, dogs don't cheat on you or use your visa card to buy shoes, dogs don't drink too much and hang all over some guy at the bar and talk about you behind your back.
And any woman that would demand a man choose between ANYTHING, be it his car, dog or kids, is NO LADY and I'd have to say she is a NEEDY CONTROLLING B*&^%

I am a female and my dog is my best friend (a womans best friend) and if a man wanted me to choose between my dog and him, no matter what, he knows where the door is!!!! Good choice!

I think you chose correctly. If you love dogs and she doesn't, that would've caused problems later on anyway. Besides, there are plenty of women out there that are great and they love dogs. In fact, you could take your dog on a walk to the park and meet some of them right now!

and how long had you been with the Girlfriend? I dont understand I guess why she would want you to choose unless that is a controlling thing maybe.

No. Your dog will love you forever and they don't get angry at you. And if she wanted you to choose then she's not right for you. I love dogs as my name suggests! I would choose my dog over a man any day!

y did she ask u 2 choose between her and the dog? i think u chose rite but my bf has a dog and sometimes i feel left out cos they r useprebable. just make sure ur gf doesnt feel left out cos it isnt a nice feeling
