Yet another spineless politician who doesn't give a **** about the American people ... whose only interest is to be re elected .... why am I not surprised?

Well if your are calling the Governor prejudice, I don't understand why, he has to do the will of the people of that state. And if he wants to stay in office.
If he wants a worker program he need to be voted out, the only problem is that, the other one that is running is worse, I think he is totally pro-illegal, I think his name is Phil Angeline's and he leans towards socialism.

It's a TYPICAL Government response: PRETEND to care about the Issue all the While Kissing ILLEGALS *** Over and Over and Over again. Come election time Any and All politicians EITHER party that are PRO ILLEGAL or PRO Amnesty should be Voted out!!!!!!!!!!

My thoughts on prejudice? It is disgusting! too many people are judging mexicans and other cultures wrong, just because one mexican steals something, does not make the whole race bad! If 1 puerto rican rapes someone does not make all puerto ricans bad people! If One black guy sales drugs, does not mean that they all do! get the picture? Live and let live. Don't judge a whole race of people for one persons mistake!

I find it hard to believe he hadn't noticed, but it's possible he didn't realize the intensity level. I saw the newscast, he basically never answered the question, but answered, with "maybe you should be concerned with the administration who should be doing a better job of securing the borders...."
I don't think any other governor is in a tougher position (catch 22) than he is. The hispanic vote is key to all southwestern states, especially his.

What else is he supposed to say? California's economy lends itself to the guest worker program; most of us with businesses in California will always welcome the contribution of immigrants. The Governor himself could hardly throw rocks at people who seek a better life the same as he did. Ok, ok, he did it legally. I help my employees on work visas become legal. Re-elect the Terminator!!

He's up for reelection and has decided he wants a guest worker program (surprise anyone? he's a republican and other than entertainment, agriculture is about as big as business gets here.)
He therefor wants to characterize opposition as prejudice.
