please help! nursing responsibilities in co-amoxiclav drug!

Not sure what you really mean but thought I'd give it a go.

Co-amoxiclav is a compound preparation of amoxycillin and the beta-lactamase inhibitor clavulanic acid. The clavulanic acid protects the amoxycillin from the penicillinases produced by virtually all Staphylococci, 30% of E.coli, a 10% of H.influenzae and many Bacteroides and Klebsiella species.

Contra-indications include:
penicillin hypersensitivity

The summary of product characteristics should be consulted before prescribing this drug.

Are you asking nursing interventions? I'm not sure but it sounds like you are a nursing student.

1) check allergies to penacillin and pennacillin related drugs
2) check dosage
3) Give medication with food
