Since I've moved here, I've been rear-ended, my road-rage has skyrocketed, and I've seen more idiots on the road then I did when I lived in Dallas. I can't wait to get out of this hick town.

All I can say is don't come to Alabama, these people here are the worst drivers then Mississippians....

People are just in a hurry and feel their "commute" from point a to b is the most importhant. It's not just in Amarillo. I'm from the Bay Area (CA) and people are horrible drivers here too. Just don't let your road rage get the best of you.

Driving used to be taken seriously by everyone, but over time it became "safe" and then degenerated into a mode of transportation that requires minimal attention. If everyone would wake up and realize driving is still a serious thing and you're potentially holding people's lives in your hands, then the crappy driving would stop. People just don't care anymore.

lol i feel ur pain!! i hate this freaking city and this area... i can drive better in freaking san diego then i can here. move to pampa, then u will really see what its like to see some dumb azz drivers :D good luck on moving, hopefully u can be one of the few to actually move on out of this hell hole :)
