This is weird, but apparently works. Use a rectal thermometer and insert it in her "birth canal" (for lack of a better word). it apparently fools the cat into thinking she's had sex and the wailing ends. Good luck

The only way to stop the behavior is to have her spayed. She could have been spayed at 8 - 9 weeks old, or as soon as she hit 2lbs. If it wasn't done then, it should have been done at 6 months to prevent her from going into heat.

I have a un fixed female cat and two male fixed cats, the female has been in heat twice before and is in now. She is part feral so her heats have been more intense. Usually for about a week she is horrible to live with, this heat is different, she hasn't drove me crazy with the wailing and she is acting like she has skipped this heat. I find that odd.

Being in heat is a natural instinct for most animals, so you cannot stop nature's instincts! Get her spayed immediately, or, if you have a scheduled appointment and you can't make it any sooner, there's nothing you can do about it. Good luck!

in the initiating this cat isn't in season each and each month. second of all there is not any reason to frighten her with suggestions from arising loud noises directed at her. 0.33 of all spaying isn't the merely way of preventing her 'calling' so in case you do choose to reproduce her then you somewhat ought to get your self a good vet who will allow you to recognize that there are different contraceptive techniques on your cat (pill variety and injection) even if this does no longer actually supply up the 'cycle' so she will nonetheless come into season once those remedies are stopped. at the same time as she is in season you'll recognize because she will call 24/7 they merely supply up at the same time as they nod off! Fourth, it ought to haven't any further something to do with pyometrea fifth, rehoming ought to be a very last motel. Please, the placement needs to investigated previously you choose something. Siamese are a socially reliable breed, compared to maximum cats who're self sustaining. Please undergo this in ideas. I have a male siamese who does this very many times and that i will guarantee you that he does no longer have pyometrea and is definately no longer in warmth! so dont panick. Now, this may before each and every thing sound mad yet air rigidity can impact all animals and so at the same time as there is an entire moon this can cause them to somewhat 'humorous' properly it occurs to my siamese besides. it really is the first element that instruments him off. the different element that motives it really is that if any of my different cats are out and he needs them in! he will experience very lonley and sorry for himself and considering that they're a vocal breed he will enable me recognize! each and every in certain situations all he needs is interest from me if iv been out countless the day. frequently all I even ought to do is call his call and he's quiet, if no longer then take him into an identical room as me (this works the appropriate, as its frequently interest of a few variety that he needs) I nonetheless recommend going to visit the vet to communicate the concern with them yet it really is from own adventure with the breed and that i wish it helps you indirectly

Yes, you can do it with a termometer or a pencil (don't introduce it), don't hurt the cat and do try to have her spayed later, when she's ok. Heats are really tedious.

No, sorry, you can't.

The only things that will stop the heat, and the behavior are either spaying or pregnancy.

Next time, get her fixed BEFORE she reaches that age!!!! If people got it done at 5 months, they wouldn't have these problems

So, she is 9 months???? If she has been in heat three times, when did it occur to you that you needed to get her spayed?????
Jeez..nothing like letting it happen over and over and then crying about it!!!!!
