Why is he so quiet??

I have a really good guy friend that I would go out with but we never see each other and he likes me too but now he doesnt want to tell me the simplest things like he doesnt want to go swimming. What reasons could he have for not wantint to go swimming with me??

he has a belly. he can't swim or not good at it. fear of water. don't like to be seen in public. you are his viagra. has a girl's name tatoo across his chest. has only one nipple, has different size nipples. he has boobies. the sun makes him break out. so you see baby girl, there are lots of reasons.

Perhaps guilt? It's hard to tell with the limited details you're giving out. Have the two of you been intimate before? A hug or a kiss maybe? If you've ever been romantically involved before now, that would factor into it.

However, judging by the fact that you're asking this question on Answers, I'll venture to guess that you really really care for him now, and that you really want to date him. He might be picking up on this, and it could in effect, be turning him off to you.

Try ignoring him for a little while and showing interest in other guys. Nothing gets a man's interest faster than a woman he no longer has. Believe it.

Are you sure your friend knows your feelings? It sounds like your guy friend is shy about his body. Try giving him compliments about his appearance. Or possibly he doesn't really care for swimming. Try to think of more thinks you guys can do together. Maybe go play some pool together, or watch a movie. There are other things to do then swimming. Have fun!!!

We love physical stuff(ball handling), tinkering, fixing, building things, We are not programmed for relationships, fashion, small talk, chit-chat. Count how many words your dad talks to how many your mother talks. Take a survey. We are simple in many ways. He probably really enjoys your company, and wants to do things with you, but you have to understand you have to sell him on the benefits of the activity (what you want to do)and not rush him into a process involving "relationship". Be patient with him, your putting a puppy dog into a place unknown to him. Matter of fact to get results treat him like dog. Reassure him, comfort him, feed him when he is hungry, take him to the park, let him play. You get the picture?

He's probably just shy. Or he might not want you to see him in swimming trunks. If he is fair skinned he might not want to get sun burned that's why I don't go swimming that much. If not I don't know.

Easy....he is fat and ulgy, so he does not want you to see him in just trunks. Also if he realy likes you, he may not be able to control his little guy down there and it will stick out like a little pop tent in his swimming trunks.

if he's like me then maybe its because he feels he is ugly and fat. and the idea of showing body in a pool is awful weird for the guy. u gotta cut him some slack. us not good looking guys, we get crap thrown at as all our lives. from high school to death. it is sad, but he likes u, and if u like him, dont push him.
