Why is it that guys think it is the height of manhood to want a threesome and that it is unmanly if a guy doesn't want it?
Maybe monogamy is cool, ever thought about that?

Your wrong about a 3-some being the height of manhood. A 3-some is fun. There are better things out there.

Having another woman with you guys during sex doesn't mean he wants her the way he wants you. I'm sure every time you've had sex you didn't feel the need for it to be deep and meaningful. Sometimes it's playful and naughty. To him, the other girl being there is a way of having playful, fun sex. He still wants you and wants the deep romantic feelings with you.
Men can separate love and sex more easily than women can. Generally speaking a man falls in love by having sex, a woman has sex by falling in love. That's not to say that it's not the other way around or simultaneous, it's just the different ways men and women generally think about love and sex.

Am not a guy or anything but i think it might be because some people have threesome and they think its like something they have to do to feel manly but not all guys think that i think that some do but not the ones i know anyway

Introducing a relationship to polygamy is fraught with problems including trust, self esteem, etc. You risk eroding the fundamental principles of the relationship itself. Some people can make an open lifestyle work for their relationship. However, both people have to be brought into it strongly and both people have to be secure in their love, trust and sexuality.

I think its the whole...forbidden is more desirable thing... Some men are just content with monogamy and are not caught up in forbidden fantasy.

I hear you...i don't like the idea of sharing MY man with some skanky girl. STDs are such a huge issue these days, you would think a man would be happy for a faithful relationship!
