You know your wife better than I do, but she probably already knows you forgot! Don't insult her with hasty untought out, spur of the moment flurry. Get a lovely flower, apologize, and make plans together. I always love it when my husband of 34 years as of August 5th, is honest , and doesn't add insult to injury. Good luck!

Go to the nearest "find-it-all-inside" store. Pick up a box of chocolates and a nice romantic card. Maybe a nice bouquet of flowers would be nice, too. Then go home, present them to her and say, " Happy Birthday, Honey. This is only a small token to let you know I remembered your birthday but I have reservations at a very nice restaurant on Saturday night. That will give us all evening without really worrying about a baby sitter, or getting home too late, and will give us an opportunity to spend time together." Then, between tonight and Saturday, get your forgetful self out to the mall, get her something really nice and follow through with the plan to take her out.
Best of luck...God bless you.

I don't know where you live, but almost all the stores are open around here until at least 9:00 pm. If you don't have time to go pick up a great looking pair of earrings or something, I'd strongly recommend reservations at a restaurant she loves. Pick up a bunch of flowers on your way home, and ask her if she could be ready to go out to dinner by the time you get home. If you have children, maybe you could find a family friendly place to go eat. Believe me, no one wants to cook their own birthday meal! The restaurant might even be able to surprise her with a special birthday dessert, if you give them some warning.
Don't feel too badly-last year, my husband knew exactly when my birthday was, but never got around to doing anything about it. ARGHHH!

Immediately make a reservation at the nicest restaurant you can get in at. Leave for home. Stop at Wal-Mart on the way home and get a dozen nice roses and something special for your wife - chocolates or a mocha frap from Starbuck's, whatever she'll see as a treat. Snag a decent piece of jewelry while you're there.
Give her the flowers and treat, take her out to dinner, give her the jewelry. And be sweet to her. You'll be good.
Best wishes and God bless.

Uh oh! Well, can you call up a nice restaurant and get a reservation for tonight? Then, pick up some flowers on the way home with a card. Tell her you have a surprise and are taking her to dinner. If you wanted to be super slick, you could stop at the mall on the way home and buy her a black dress or a nice neckace to wear tonight.

Make some dinner reservations and set up a massage or something for the weekend so it at least looks like you planned ahead. Stop and pick up some flowers too. Or just say screw it all and call up your friends and go out to a strip club with them and get wasted. If you're going to get into trouble it might as well be worth it.

Go to the nearest place that sells flowers and buy her a beautiful bouquet. Call her favorite restaurant and make a reservation, then call her and tell her you have a surprise evening planned. If you are near a mall, buy her a bottle of her favorite cologne or something else she might enjoy. Sometimes the simplest gift is always appreciated the most - knowing it comes from the heart with love.
Good luck.

Better call the nicest restaurant in town and see if they have a table left. If you have kids, send them to the sitter's or whoever reliable can watch them. For a gift, you can tell her you're going to take her shopping for whatever she wants this weekend, or call now to a day spa and set up an appointment for her to be pampered this weekend. Hope that helps and next time, mark your calendar and set your phone to warn you when her birthday is coming. Good luck!

Wow that's pretty sad. At least you caught yourself! I would make her dinner....a candlelight dinner. She'll love that and she may even think you've been planning it for a while. Then dance with her to one of her favorrite songs (hopefully you know one of them) and who knows, man, maybe you may even get a little birthday surprise. If you do hit the sack tonight, make sure you really pleasure her....after all it is her birthday!
I hope everything works out for you!

Fondue on Westheimer great for Birthday's and different. On a Wed. you should not need reservations. Simply Fondue I believe is the name of it. Same shopping center as the Palm.
