My girl is 12 and her breasts developed somewhat fast. Since I worry much about her, I got her some bras for proper support.; She didnt like them but gave a try. Unfortunately, shs didn't enjoy the experience and wants me to let her braless. I dont I think should and told her she'd really have to wear the, but she' d soon get used. She didnt rebel, but keeps asking me to let her braless. She even promissed to behave better if I agreed. I got astounded, cause she behaves, nothing seriuos to complain about. I just said Hun, this is not a punishment My God, it's for your own best, you need a bra
She says it's her body and she doesnt liie bras. But I'm her mom. Well, is it OK to make her wear them? I think it is but someone may have a different opinion .

Be truthful and tell her the weight of her breasts will be pulled down by gravity and she will have long out of shape boobies quicker! OF COURSE YOU TELL HER TO WEAR THEM AND NOT TO REBEL BECAUSE THAT WILL HAVE CONSEQUENCES OF TAKING AWAY SOMETHING OR MISSING SOMETHING THAT SHE WANTS TO GO TO! You need to get control now because she will (try)be a rebellious teen soon. It sounds like she may have the upper hand now since she has said she didn't like it AND because she wants to barter with you. It is best for her because of sagging later and now because of boys and their comments and thoughts. Most girls don't want to be known as the loose girl and she may get that if she doesn't bite the bullet and wear them. I don't know of anyone who thinks they are comfy. You may take her and let her pick out some that she likes but has support and maybe 1or2 that can be worn under things for the style. Best wishes!

After 12 years of catholic school, and having to wear uniforms, I would guess it would matter depending on her size. If she's an A or B, I don't think to make a fuss about it, but if she's a Full C or larger, I would atleast suggest a sports bra for some kind of support, and it will atleast cut down on back pain of she is D or larger.

Put your foot down and make her wear the bra!! If not she will run around looking like Alabama trailer trash. It is unethical for a girl with developing breasts to not wear a bra!! Dont take this the wrong way,she really does need to wear one.

i think you should make her wear them. i remember i didn't like it at all at first, but my mom told me honestly, just like you did, that we need them. and what worked for me was wearing them, say, a few days a week at first, and gradually increasing that. also, i still (even now) take it off when i'm at home. so what i think is you should have her start wearing them 2-3 days a week, but just to school/activities/etc. and then gradually increase the time. good luck! =)

Please do her one of the greatest favors you can, and don't make her. My parents force me, and I'm always miserable. Of course, I just find ways to sneak out without one on, and I take it off as soon as I get to school. Please don't make her, her life will be a lot better than if you did.
