Tupalo is our first cat, got her when she was 6 weeks, she is not 6 months. We aquired another kitten, whos about 3 months.
She seems to not like the older kitten thought Tupalo, our 6 month seems to be taking the new kitten better.

Will this change? wi'll they grow accustom to each other? Will it cause jealousy?

let them get used to each other...usually in a couple of weeks they will start to accept one another. your new kitty is just trying to adjust to a new home, new smells, and more animals. don't force them to be together but let them do it on their own....they're also still young and considered kittens...make sure you get them both their shots and spayed or neutered. i'm sure they will become friends, it just takes awhile.

It might not change, but they can get to the point where they tolerate each other. Just make sure that you feed them from separate bowls, and either change the litter frequenlty, or get two boxes for them. Otherwise you might have a problem with the kitten refusing to use the same box as Tupalo. Otherwise, it just takes time. I had two cats that came from the same litter, and they too would fight sometimes. One day, you'll look over and see them snuggling together.

Well, i have a cat and he was sort of affectionate, but when we gotten a younger cat, he got kind of mad, so we kept our new cat in a room for like 2 weeks, then we let him around the house, but our other cat, he became less and less affectionate, and when we cuddled with him, he wanted to get away and started growling. But i am not sure that we were trying to get too much attention from him, and he wasn't used to it because he was left in an abandoned house for quite a while. I am sure your cats will start to accept each other more and more. But try not to push it, sometimes they will fight, but they will become friendly with each other and might still have some jealously.
Hope i helped!

Just give it time, they will work out their own dynamic, I'm sure the younger one just want to make sure the older one doesn't take advantage of it. As soon as it relizes it's safe then everyone should be ok, they may never be very close and snuggly but they learn to tolerate each other, since they are young they will probably end up using each other for companionship though.

I'm sure since both kittens are still young, they will get over this and become compatible since they will grow up together. By any chance, what's the sex of these two kittens? Are they both boys, both girls, or a boy and a girl? Gender can make a difference as well.

Give them time and they will get used to each other. For now you should keep them separated unless supervised in case of fighting. Cats are territorial so it takes a little bit for them to get accustomed to new comers. They may also go through a bit to find "the leader of the pack". Just watch them closely to avoid injuries and remember to be patient.

cats are notoriously jealous, and its hilarious! You probably can't stop jealousy. Usually, cats will adapt and become friends. However, some cats simply refuse. If it doesn't get better within a few weeks to a month, then you'll probably have to find someone to give the younger cat to.

when I first brought home a new kitten my older female cat HATED him! She would let out the longest hiss (and stinky breath!) when he came near! He would try to play with her and she would have none of it. After a while they kind of got used to each other. They're not cuddley with each other, but they don't fight, just an occasional hiss by her at him (he always liked her).

They should, unless the little kitten is talking s h i t to the older kitten all the time. I have a six month old kitten too, his name is Martin, coolest cat in the world.
