Everyone will go to Hell, because no matter what you believe, you don't believe in the "right" thing according to somebody else.

Think about this - if Jesus really plans for all Roman Catholics to go to hell, why did he permit the entirety of Christianity to be entrusted to it for a thousand years? If the first thousand year of Christianity's adherents are all destined for hell... then does that mean there was a 1,000 year time delay effect on the salvation from the cross?

Where did you get that idea? I have heard of a few Jehovah Witnesses bad mouthing Catholics? I have studied the bible as well as other religions. I attend mass and have received my sacraments. I am not going to say I am perfect because no one is, not in any religion. There are some bad catholics, but despite what Larry above is telling you, Catholics are the original christians. We believe in Jesus and if you believe in Jesus, you are saved. You also have to do your best and try your best no matter what religion you are. I know of JW's, Baptists, Methodists, and other Christians that are not near as charitable as many catholics. I have friends of other non Christian religions who I believe are good people and capable of going to heaven as well. God decides, not you, not me. HE is the only one who knows our hearts. That was a very naive question you asked, yet I am glad you asked.

Well, thanks for that vote of confidence! Gee, I hope not. I'm not sure why people concern themselves so much with whether or not others will be going to hell. I have never really given too much thought to who will be either place, other than myself ... and, of course, trying to steer my children on the proper path when they were young. I was raised a Protestant (Methodist) and attended Mass with many of my friends over the years. I converted to Catholicism at the age of around 22. My children have attended many other church services and Bible Schools over the years with friends: Presbyterian, Methodist, Nazarene as well as Catholic. I don't condemn anyone. When the time for condemnation or forgiveness comes, that task will be for God alone. And my personal belief is that He will weigh that decision based on more than what the sign says outside the church we attended. Let's hope anyway.

Since it is the Church Christ established and since all the authors and writers of the New Testament were Roman Catholics and since Christ promised his eternal protection to his Church and that he would guide it into all truth......I say, no.

definitely, people have to be responsible for the actions of their churches both in the past and now and we all know the many terrible things this church has done and continues to do with the full backing of its followers. and just saying 'I dont believe everything the church says' doesnt discount people from the fact that they still support this cult. They will burn and the fires will get higher and brighter.

What makes you think that? And specify what Hell you believe in. Simply, a Christian is a Christian is going to Heaven. Not a Christian = not going to Heaven. Find out if people bear the fruit of believers, that will make it easier to determind their Christianity.

I don't believe so just because you go to a church you still know what you believe and as long as you have asked god to forgive you and confess him as Lord then that person will be fine

probably not...just like NOT all people from another Christian denomination (or NON denomination, for that matter) will go to heaven.
Christ looks on the heart - not the "Label" you're wearing.
