I could be that he is secure sharing you with another man, but, insecure in having another woman. Fear of performing for both. Don't know of anyone who doesn't/wouldn't want to see two woman having sex, he could be an exception. Brings up more questions you might what to ask.

Essentially because it wasn't his idea. Some guys prefer to control the sexual conquests. You've decided to take matters into your own hands, and it bothers him.
It could also be because he prefers male-female-male three-somes. If that is his preference... you might want to look more closely into his preferences.
