How about contacting your state's dept. of health & human services.... they might be able to point you in the right direction.

With some marketing and celebrity this can be turned into a local (news) interest story. Journalists are always looking for good news. Plan a press release and invite reporters. Invite another member of your community with some prominence (Pastor, Realtor, Insurance Guy, Banker, Principal, et cetera) to announce that a trust fund account or a donation account has been set up at a certain bank for donations. This can work, but you have to be clever and creative about it. Also begin a letter writing campaign...get your mailing list from 1. Chamber of Commerce and 2. City Clerk's office. Best wishes and congratulations!

WIC will provide formula for the babies, which is a BIG expense, since it's almost impossible to breastfeed triplets. :) Just talk to them, and beyond that, check at your local Salvation Army and Goodwill stores for gently used items. Buy diapers in bulk from Sam's Club or CostCo, and ask for donations/gift cards from friends and family in lieu of baby shower and birthday gifts for the babies. Congratulations and good luck! :)

Shouldnt they be thinking about this prior to getting pregnant.
Perhaps they should have thought about abortion in the beginning, or putting up for adoption if they cant afford a child.
Sounds like they are selfish and going to bring down the rest of the family to help this child.
This child will be born into poverty and therefore will not get the advantages that it should.

The father needs to get a better job.
The mother needs to get a job that she can telecommute with.
And they each need to work for about another 8 years before thinking of having child #2.

Think about what your doing, and have some forethought about the consequences.

Sometimes, if you contact diaper and formula companies they will donate some free or send coupons. Also, talk to the people at Babies R Us? Have her check with her OB to see if there's a "mother of twins" club in the area.
And, something to consider, too, with three extra people in the family, they might qualify for WIC (Women, Infants and Children) and that would help with formula, cereal, etc.
Best of luck with the future grandbabies!

American Red Cross and your local Fire department might provide you with car seats. Also, you can call around to several stores in the area and ask for donations. You can tell them that the triplets birth will be written up in the paper along with their(the stores) names as contributing sponsors. That will be a way of generating advertisements for them. That's a start! Good Luck! Write me when they are born!!!!!!!!!!

She can get in the WIC program which is Woman, Infacts, and Children. In this program you get items for free that are on a list. She can also apply for food stamps and such.

There are many things out there, if she can't get anything than it may come down to the family helping her which is fine. It's just going to be fine.

You can contact pampers for one. They help with multiple birth families. Do they belong to a church? They can shop thrift stores or if you have babies stores in their area that resell baby items. I have been there many, many, many times and have paid next to nothing for name brands items that still had the original sales tags on them.

Good Luck to the grandparents and the happy family to be!

Try applying for WIC(gives food for babies) or EBT(foodstamps). These would free up more money for your daughter to buy other things she/her family needs.
