With a hammer but if you don't own a hammer or just can't wait because you need the money in the piggy bank to buy a hammer, just throw it down on the floor or bang it up against the wall until it breaks open.

if it's plastic -- use a knife , but be careful not to cut yourself.
you can always reuse it by putting tape over the hole.
Or, hit it with a hammer. A chain saw would also work if you held it down with a vise. Disclaimer!!!! don't do it without supervision & be very careful, stuff could start flying all over the place and hit you in the eye, so wear protection.

The more important question is why is this in the Aircraft section??????????????? Are you planning on running your piggy bank over with a jumbo jet? Are you going to get an Air Marshal to shoot it up with his machine gun? ARe you going to drop the piggy bank out the window at 10,000 feet to smash it on the ground and then go back later to retrieve the money (if you can find it!)???? I'm starting to get very suspicious....

If you'd rather keep the piggy bank intact for futher use, there probbably would be a stopper on the underbelly side of the bank. Unplug stopper and there ya go and you won't need to pick up pottery shards latter.

If it's plastic just cut it small and carefully so you can use it again. Just give yourself enough room to shake the money out or so you can stick your fingers in and get any dollar bills that you might have in there. Else ...just break if it's ceramic, and go to a dollar store and get another when you want to start saving again.

They usually have a seal on the bottom that you can pull out. If not, then drop it on a hard floor or hit it with a hammer. :)
