What about bruschetta? You can chop some tomatoes with a LITTLE cheese and some herbs, maybe roasted red pepper or onion, spray bread slices with cooking spray and rub with a sliced clove of garlic, then toast them in a 350 degree oven until crisp, and enjoy. :)

Try an anti-pasto. We like to mariante veggies in a light vinagrette, (you can par-boil some of the veggies like carrots and zukes). Plate the veggies up with some good lean ham, provolone, or smoke turkey.. It's a nice way to get some of the good with the "bad"!! Serve some bruschetta on the side as well.

I would recommend a plate without the cheese. You can have cherries, nuts, honey, dried fruit and olives. All of these go great with wine and are really good.
