At least in the early stages, it feels a whole lot better than the various cures. I never felt anything, but had blood in my stool, so went and had a variety of tests that discovered a cancerous polyp. I did chemo and radiation together, which made me tired and kept me near a bathroom at all times. Once I recovered some from that, I had surgery and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. (lost 25 lbs, woohoo!). Now my doctor is suggesting more chemo, and I'm thinking he's going to have to give me some good solid reasons, more than just "it reduces the risk of return" before I agree. I want my freaking life back!

I am 40 and just had a cancerous tumor in my bladder removed. The thing about cancer is that it is not painful, so I really didn't know I had it. The tumor showed up in an ultrasound that was done for something else.

Cancer, its self has no feelings, it is the on set of other problems that lead to a Doctor and diagnoses after tests are run.
