Whats your thoughts on the Remington 870 Express Super Magnum Shotgun. I want to buy this gun for shoot turkey, quial, maybe deer. The more feedback you have the better. Thanks all!

I have one with the short rifled barrel with blade sights.

I use Winchester Supreme Partition Gold Sabot slugs through it and was quite surprised with hits accuracy.

I've shot rifles most of my life and it kicks much harder than a 30-06 with the 2 3/4 inch shells.

Other than that, I think they are nicely balanced and easy to carry. It would be nice if sling mounts were standard (at least they weren't about 8 years ago when I bought time).

The 3 1/2 " shells will have a very hard kick.
If you are not used to shooting a Magnum shotgun you will not like this gun with heavy loads.
A semi-auto uses some of the recoil to eject and and load another shell-this give you less felt recoil.
I prefer the Remington 1187 Premier the wood is much nicer than the "Express models" and magnum shells handle well in it.

I used to have one with a 26" inch barrell. I never got to shoot it, My son has shot a few thousand shells through it. He likes it so much he wont give it back.
