It really depends on the brand of garlic salt. All have different ingredients but almost all garlic salt has an Anti-caking Agent (Calcium Stearate) and Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (contains Soya).

I DO NOT LIKE garlic salt. But then, I have a low tolerance for salt. If I have to use dried prepared garlic, I use garlic powder. I haven't read the ingredients, but it probably contains salt. I just can't taste it. It's too easy to crush a clove or 2, and just get it over with.

That's right. Plus some other chemicals that will stop it from lumping. Some brands will also put other flavors in it too. I know one of my favorites has dried parsley flakes.
