I have learned about the site and it seems great. (through yahoo answers). This is my first time taking instructors from that site as a basis of whom to take. Has anyone here ever used that site and the professor were truly as good as described I just want to hear your responses. Also is there anymore sites like this one out there?

I have been to that site before and I have been quite honest in what I write about the professors. When you read the responses it is the same thing as asking someone in person what they think of a certain professor. Just because some people dislike a professor doesn't mean that you would dislike that same professor. The same goes for those that like a certain professor...it doesn't mean that you will like that professor.

I have had professors that some didn't like because they thought he was too hard and went off on tangents. These tangents that they spoke of weren't tangents at all...they actually applied to the lecture. You just had to pay attention to what he was talking about. I loved his class even if it was hard. He expected you to do your part as a student.

I would take into consideration what others say about a professor but do keep an open mind when you choose to take a class with a professor.

There may be other sites like that out there but ratemyprofessor.com is the most common website.

This has been this kind of widespread excuse via the years for lots of scholars. The instructor could routinely feel that you just had been mendacity. I were accused of now not drawing a snapshot of a mouse again within the day. The instructor gave me an 'F' since she felt I was once now not being fair. I challenged the instructor to observe me draw the mouse and to supply me an 'A' if she believed me. Well, I did and he or she gave me my 'A.' You could get your dad and mom or roommates to jot down out some thing approximately the truth that this quite occurred. It nonetheless will likely be as much as the instructor to exhibit reputation. I desire you so much luck. What we could then say to those matters? If GOD be for us, WHO may also be towards us? - Romans eight:31 The Lord day-to-day loadeth us with BENEFITS, even the GOD of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm sixty eight:19 Peace!

it all depends on the type of person who 1) the professor is and 2) how the student (rater) is.

yea, i have used it before, it helped alot, but i guess with everything you still have to be careful because someone's opinion of a teacher might not be the same as yours.
