My aunt has had it for a little over 6 months and it has made her less social and less confident. I've been trying to find her some sort of treatment and maybe you can help me...

Most people are not treated for this condition. This is because treatment is often difficult and unsuccessful.

Treatment may include the use of photosensitizing compounds followed by exposure to ultraviolet light. Topical or oral 8-methoxypsoralen or trimethylpsoralen treatments must be repeated multiple times in order to achieve even partial darkening of the skin.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for vitiligo. See a dermatologist and they may can help you cover up the white pigmented areas, if you have them on your face and other visible areas.

I got reverse vitiligo. The opposite of what Michael Jackson got, lucky bastard. Every year my skin just gets blacker and darker, and darker and blacker.
