Because our bodies are full of histamines. They go crazy
when we come into contact with something were allergic
to. So, the anti-histamines are supposed to calm it down.
WHY our bodies overproduce histamine I have no clue,
I don't even know if doctors really know WHY.

it's because your body is hypersensitive to some substances... your body tries to get rid of the substances, thinking they are a disease (ex. dust, mold, pollen, pet dander, etc.). it's a malfunction in the immune system.
