Custard creams!!!! They are yummy.I take the top layer off and lick the custard in the middle.mmm nice for dunking in my cup of tea. bourbons are my second favourite and I do the same with them!! mmmm

It depends....and I only answer that way because there are so many "kinds" out there. From canned, to frozen, to homemade, to those at restaurants.

For good southern cooking style, you can't beat Cracker Barrel's, as long as they're fresh made and fresh out of the oven.

For the closest thing to those at home, you can either make them yourself (which I used to do all the time) using REAL buttermilk....OR...you can purchase Mrs. B's frozen jumbo buttermilk biscuits, which are a close third after those I make myself! :)

And then, for those people who have NO taste at all...there's the canned variety, which I don't consider biscuits at all.

For true "tea"......you can make a variation called Scones, which are basically baking soda biscuits with milk. Quite good, and excellent with real strawberry preserves and real whipping cream whipped up (no sugar added...takes away from the preserves!)

And if you'd rather have something with a bit more flavor and bite to it....Red Lobster has cheddar garlic biscuits which I think are wonderful with seafood!
