I have been trying to find details/info on this. I thought that you could apply for dual citizenship/nationality. I am a U.S. citizen and was wondering about this.

u are an american citizen because u are born on US soil, even just one of your parents is Mexican you can apply for a dual citizenship, get a good immigration lawyer. This is easu though, you can just make your own research and do it yourself.

now, the question is why you wantto have a dual citizenship?

If your parents were born in Mexico, there is a chance that you get duel citizenship. If you were raised there, and born in the U.S., you definately could get it. Check with an immigration attorney.
