Scream at who you like. It's not illegal. Sometimes screaming at my parents was the only way to get them to listen. Some parents just aren't that great. If that's the case, why respect them?
Just for the record, in my mid 20's, I don't really regret it. It needed to be done and probably saved me for a great part. It forced them to listen to me and actually acknowledge what was going on in my life. I regret a lot of other things I did, but not screaming at my parents. Respect is earned, it's not granted. If you bring me into the world and I'm having a terrible time in it and don't want to be there and you're doing nothing to help me, just making things worse, then why should I give you even an ounce of respect?

Not illegal, but lacking in mature actions. Parents may not always be "right", according to you, but they are the authority in your home, if you live under their roof. Screaming at them only displays childish lack of control like a temper tantrum. Get ready for the real world---many things may upset you but the stupidest thing you can do is start yelling. When you lose control, people stop listening to you.

Its not illegal but if your home (like so many others) has its own set of "rules" and "regulations" then you might get punished, anyway. So many parents don't listen to a word that their kids have to say. Its like they are all going around in their own little worlds and they don't know that your world exists. Try to explain your side to them. If that doesn't work then just give up until your 18. It will come quick enough and then you can bet that they will hear you when you speak.

Actually, it's more illegal for your parents to discipline you so go ahead be a little ***** and do what ever you want! Hell, you don't have to pay for your actions mommy and daddy do. Treat them like crap since after all what do they really do for you? You could provide your own home and get a good job making lots of money and take care of yourself right?

No. It's immature and they won't hear you out when you're screaming at them anyway. Whenever you feel like screaming at them, walk away, cool down for a couple minutes, then re-approach them and tell them what you wished they'd listen to. They'll be more receptive to you when you come at them like an adult. Good luck!

Why would that be illegal? They scream at us, don't they? But it's probably better to talk your problems out rather than yell. good luck.

May not be illegal, but my Mom would have smacked me.
My children have never yelled at me, but I wouldn't like. I wouldn't hit them or anything, but I would punish them depending on the situation.

According to you they are in the wrong. But will you still think so in 20 years when you are in the other shoes?
