I know it's common with children and stuff, but my heart didn't start doing this until I was in my 20's. Does anyone know any info on this? It's a very uncomfortable feeling.

I played college volleyball. During my physical the doctor said I had a heart murmur but not to worry about it because it's very common. It has never hurt me though...If I were you I would go and get checked. It sounds like it may be something else along with your murmur! Good luck

Heart murmurs are not uncommon in adults and children. You have to ask your family, if any of them has it, it can be passed down. If it gets worse you might have to see an cardiologist to distinguish where the murmur is coming from, and if it needs to be treated, because there can be a few different areas of the heart that can cause the murmurs.

Mine didn't start until after my second child was born, when I was 23. Also, both of my children have it. My doctor said when I was pregnant with them, their heartbeat threw mine off, and that's why it came on later in life. But he also said it's nothing to worry about unless you start having pains or trouble with circulation.

I have one, it isn't uncomfortable but you just have to watch you do and limit activities.

It shouldn't effect your life.

Good luck!!!
