Your son may not have a sinus infection, but he may have some type of allergy to his surroundings that is making his nose run. This is the first thing that came to mind. So I would imagine that if he had a true sinus infection for 3 months, he'd be running a pretty high temperature by now. I really believe your problem with him is allergies. Does your home have carpet, or are there lots of pollen producing plants around your house? Do you have pets? Consider all this, then take your child to a doctor for the best treatment.......best of luck to you.....

I am assuming you've been to see his doctor. After anything that the doctor has recomended you should make yourself as knowledgeable as possible about good nutrition and apply it to his daily routine and that will probably mean that it will change your routine as well, which is good anyway. Doctors usually won't give you as much info about health as a nutritionist will. If you can't afford to consult with one just find a good health food store close to you. They will normally have very well informed employees that can give great advice on diet, supplements, and lifestyle. Just ask. It may be that he just has sinus problems in general ( my daughter is 3 and she does ). The doctor may give you an option to take some preventative meds. I only use those when her sinuses are acting up. This may just be something that you guys will deal with regularly and that's OK. Alot of these problems can be caused by the area that you live too. There's alot of pollen where I am, but anyway juat find a good healthy routine and after that you've done all you can.

I am assuming you have been a responsible parent and taken him to the doctor and had the usual run of antibiotics. The next step should be an ear, nose and throat doctor and possibly surgury to drain the infection. Hopefully it won't be surgury because there are other options such as saline washes several times per day and decongestants and things like that but surgury is not unheard of in cases of chronic sinusitis.

Press the finger and thumb tips of your son intermittently and he will experience pain. Apply moderate pressure daily for 10 minutes twice a day. Give him 20 grains of raisins and 2 pieces of dates daily. Walnut will help him upto a great extent. Also, half-spoon of honey to be given twice a day. Ask your son to inhale steam daily. Make him to sneeze by inserting some soft object into his nostrils so that the mucus deposits in the head start flowing down and he finds relief. Avoid giving ice cream and cold drinks to your son. Put 2 to 3 drops almond oil in his nostrils daily. Give him half tablet of SEPTILIN (By Himalaya Herbal Health Care) twice a day for 3 months to get relief from this disorder. Take care of your son and let mother and son be in good health.
