It's really better for you to ask your doctor. He knows your condition a lot better than the people in this forum. Ask him first any questions regarding your pregnancy. You could always even write a list of questions to ask him when you go to his office. Best of luck to you and your baby.

Probably not a good idea. . .but if you really like the taste of a particular coffee (separate from the "pick me up" effect). . .then buy it decaffe. . .or decaffe it naturally.
Btw, black tea has roughly 50% the caffeine of coffee (for the same size drink). . .even better. . .green tea has 25% the caffeine of coffee. . .and many herbals are stimulant free! So consider switching to tea if you're open to it.
How do you naturally decaffe coffee or tea? Let the coffee (or tea) grounds "steep" (rest) in hot to boiling water for roughly 1 minute. . .dispose of the liquid. . .and steep again this time using "new" hot to boiling water. . .for 3-5 minutes. . .to bring the flavor out. (Scientific research has proven that 70-80% of caffeine is released from the tea leaf and coffee bean during the first minute of steeping. . .while retaining much flavor of the leaf and bean. . .and removing some of the harsh bitterness.)
Hope this helps!

I guess so as long as you don't abuse of it. I found an article which is quite interesting which might be of use. There was also another article by some psychiatrist but that speaks about experiments on animals and weird stuff like that and I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. My mother was drinking coffee when she was pregnant with me and I am perfectly fine, physically and mentally... at least I think so...

yes, you can drink coffee during pregnancy, but it should be limited to 1-2 cups per day.

I don't thinks it's advisable to drink a lot of coffee although I never had that problem I couldn't keep it down for more than 10 seconds!

Any drugs you take into your body (caffine with coffee) will be passed on to the child, and a child can't handle much caffine as it will make their heart pump too fast.
