Yes, having a yeast infection has nothing to do with a period, having them at the same time can be pretty messy. Just make sure to clean extra good, to prevent another infection.

well first did she finally take care of the yeast infection? if not she should do that right away like go to a DOCTOR and yes she can get her period but if shes had it 4 a long time who knows what damage is done

Yes, a yeast infection will not affect your period coming. Has your cousin not tried to cure her yeast infection? A doctor can prescribe Diflucan orally and you can buy Monistat at the drug store. You don't want to just leave the infection there. It's very uncomfortable anyway!
