That isn't the best advice. Go to an attorney. This happened to me once. I went to the free legal clinic and talked to a pro bono attorney. He called the judge and asked him to recall the warant. He did.

If the warrant was for "failure to appear" and the crime was small (traffic violation, for instance), you can just take care of it at the police station. But take lots of money! The fine for failure to appear may be as much as 10 times the original fine. Recently a person I know had to pay a $210.00 fine for a ticket that would have only cost $25 if he had gone to court, or paid it ahead of time. Moral of this story: The courts are serious. They can and will get you. Do what they ask.

You will be taken where the Warrant for your arrest was issued...and that's at the court you're trying to avoid...Turn yourself in...you will be better off..Why would you want to be "looking over your shoulder?" every time you went out??

go to a police station because the longer you wait you will be putting yourself into more trouble. Then if you get taken to jail you wont get a bond and will have to just sit until your further court date.

Believe me----you have to go to the courthouse where the other stuff took place. Call some lawyers and find a cheap one to go represent you though.
