Try doing as I have done, and copy the Bible, word for word, from front to back, in your very best handwriting, with ball point pen(s) and looseleaf paper, and you'll find that there's NOT a Chapter that's NOT your favorite. The first time I did that, it took me 7 and 3/4 years on the New International Version. Now that I'm copying two very orthodox versions of Catholic Bibles at the same time, it's taking about that much time for me to get to Proverbs 15:11 on my second copy. One copy I'm doing in prayer for my daughter and the other for my son. They're both young adults in their 20's, and my son is a U.S. Army soldier in Iraq for his second tour of duty, and they don't know, or maybe not even care that I'm doing this in prayer for them, but God knows, and He'll work it out for them, no matter which way He does it. God Bless you.

Revelation Chapters 4 & 5 because they present to us a view into Heaven and into the surroundings around God. It presents such a peaceful scene in the midst of such chaos and turmoil and also a promise of what is ahead rather than the troubles of the current time and future conflicts.

Yes, those verses are my favorites too, they're wonderful. I like so many it's hard to choose. I love Genesis as this is where God made the earth from nothing, and it shows His Glory! From nothing! What a imagination He has!

Revelations 7:12
And I looked as he opened the 6th seal. And behold there was a great Earthquake and the sun as black as sack cloth and the moon became as blood.
Judgment! I just remembered that one because they used it Ghostbusters, my fave movie.
But in the movie they say 6:12 when it's actually 7:12.

I have always loved the entire book of James. He leaves no question as to what we as Christians are to do. He is very straight-forward - to the point. I grow very tired of people trying to "walk on eggshells" when it comes to what is right or wrong - or worse yet: politically correct. James lays it all on the line and says it like it is. Jesus was blessed to have such a brother.

Because this is the chapter about what God has done in our walk with Him.

I have a few;
And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man.--Ezekiel 4:12
But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.--Corinthians 1 14:38
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.--Matthew 12:40
But I really love this one;
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.--Matthew 17:27
Good stuff.

the last chapter of proverbs that describes a virtuous woman. My dad showed that to me when I asked him where in the bible are there women? I've treasured it ever since.
